Areopagus,a campus ministry partnered with Trinity Christian Reformed Church, seeks to reflect the ongoing relevance of the Gospel and Christian worldview to all facets of life for the students, faculty, and staff of Iowa State University. As a ministry of the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA), Areopagus brings a distinctly Reformed perspective to everything it does.

Some opportunities include:

  • Spring Student Bible Study
    Meeting online on Mondays at 7:00 PM for an eight week video study (with Timothy Keller). Contact Pastor Randy Raak ( for information about setting up a RightNow Media account.

  • Student Dinners
    Each month, the Trinity CRC community hosts a meal for ISU students. Enjoy food, fun, and community. Meals begin at 6:00 PM. All are welcome!
    Spring Semester dates: January 24, February 21, March 21, and April 18.
  • Coffee, Tea, and English
    Informal conversational English program with international students. Great way to connect with students and families from around the world.
    Currently meets online through Zoom on Fridays at 4:30 PM. Contact to get on the email list.
  • Food at First
    Volunteer together to prepare and distribute meals to the community. Dates TBD.
