  • Covenant and Calling: A Missional Study of Deuteronomy— In Deuteronomy, God reminds his people of their relationship with him and calling in the world. We will examine both the historical and ongoing significance of this book as we seek to live on mission in the world today. Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Memorial Union room 3517.
  • Grad Student Dinner Discussions— Are you a graduate student? Join us once a month for a home-cooked meal and discussion at Tyler and Christina Helfers’ house. We will meet from 6-7:30 p.m. on the following Sundays: March 18, and April 8.
  • Food at First— Join other students and members of TCRC as we prepare and serve a meal for the community on the 1st and 2nd Fridays of each month. Meets at First Christian Church (611 Clark Ave.) beginning at 3:30 p.m. for prepping and 5:30 p.m. for serving.
  • ALTI (Areopagus Leadership Training Initiative)— A multi-faceted program for ISU students to help prepare them to serve as leaders in the church, community, and in their given vocations. Engage in biblical-theological study; learn from pastors, professors, and civic leaders; and gain experience through practical modules throughout the semester. Those who participate are eligible for $500 scholarships. Currently taking applications for the 2018-2019 academic year.
  • Areopagus Spring Lecture–This year’s lecture, entitled “Creation/Vocation,” will be on Thursday, April 5 at 6:30 p.m. in Morrill Hall room 2019, and will feature Dr. Craig Bartholomew. Dr. Bartholomew is the Director of the Kirby Laing Institute for Christian Ethics at Tyndale House (Cambridge), and the author of numerous books, including Contours of the Kuyperian Tradition: A Systematic Introduction and Beyond the Modern Age: An Archeology of Contemporary Culture (co-authored with Bob Goudzwaard).



Welcome Luncheon
Our annual Welcome Luncheon is held on the Sunday before Iowa State University classes begin in August.  A free meal is provided by our Trinity CRC Fellowship Committee and served after the morning service. We look forward to get to know you and answer any questions you may have about the community, ISU, our church and Areopagus our campus ministry. Come Join us August 19, 2018.
